E-Portfolio Help

I have added a couple of more tutorial videos to the E-Portfolio tutorial page.  I'll post them in this post too.   Now there are instructions on adding a movie (make sure the students Share the file in Google Docs before they link it) and how to add a sound file with an MP3 player.
I also made this really cute video using GoAnimate.com.  Many teachers are having the same problem of being denied view access on some student projects.  This is because the files are linked from Google Docs.  The students just need to make sure that the files that are showcased on their portfolios are shared publicly.  Watch the video if you don't know how to share documents publicly.  And if you think this is a cool way to present material, try it out for free on goanimate.com.

Compression Windows Movie Maker Files

Many of you are asking about compressing videos. Here is a link to some instructions on how to compress movie maker files. We might have better luck uploading the student videos to a service such as vimeo.com and embedding the videos into your student's e-portfolios. I'm looking into the best way to do this right now and I will keep you posted.
